Kareem Williams AKA Kayrem is a new up and coming House, Trap, Garage, Bassline and Drum and Bass Producerand DJ Coming from small town UK town Burton-on-Trent.
Kayrem takes disco, jazz and simple melodies and inserts his trademark skippy hi-hat beat to create a twisted and syncopated groove. There's few artists who start their won genre but Kayrem has - "two-step-tech". The offering here is exactly in that sweet spot with "Joyride Jack" bringing relentless jazzy joy and a the darker "4.23 a.m. in Brazil" reminiscent of a blues party in a makeshift favela bar.
Kayrem has featured on featured as an introducing artist on the BBC Introducing and has racked up the plays on Soundcloud for his remixes and bass line DJ mixes. When the world returns to normal (we hope!) in 2021 watch out for Kayrem sets at club night across the UK.
